Have you ever had an overly ripe banana staring at you? No one wants to eat it, yet there it sits. You have two options.. toss it in the freezer OR use the recipe below and make something decadent, special and ALL FOR YOU! This recipes makes an easy, breakfast, lunch or bedtime snack. The hemp seeds are a great way to get your fats in while upping the protein content and add a rich nutty flavor. Proper fat intake is important for hormone production and regulation!
Ingredients:
105g (1) Ripe Banana
5g (1TB) Coca Powder
40g (1.5 scoops) Chocolate Protein Powder, Rich Chocolate Elite Casein Dymatize
30g (2TB) Hulled Hemp Seeds
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
70g (1/4 cup + 1TB) Cary's Sugar Free Syrup
15g (1TB) Reece's Peanut butter Chips
Need:
Bowl
Fork
Microwave
Steps:
Use a bigger bowl than you think you will need! It will expand in the microwave when cooked.
Add banana and mash with a fork.
Mix in the hulled hemp seeds, baking powder, and baking soda.
Mix in the cocoa powder, chocolate casein protein powder (note: vanilla casein works too! It will just be lighter in color than mine).
Mix in Cary's Sugar free syrup (note: maple syrup or regular syrup is would work too!)
Cook in microwave for 2 minutes. Cooking time may vary based on your microwave.
