Do you like to eat your calories (instead of drink them) and savor every bite? If so, this recipe is for you! This recipe was born during a deficit but is great for those times when you want to have a light but protein filled breakfast. It's like a breakfast sorbet/acai bowl all in one.
Ingredients:
150g (roughly 1.5 cup) of Frozen Blueberries
40g (roughly 1 scoop and a half) Ghost Cinnamon Cereal Milk Whey Protein
5g (1tsp) Xanthum Gum
1/2 can of Zero Sugar Gingerale
granola to top

Blender
Spatula
Steps:
Place the blender on the scale, zero out the scale and measure out 150g (roughly 1.5 cups) of blueberries
Zero the scale and add in 40g (about 2 scoops) of Ghost Cinnamon Cereal Milk Whey Protein
Zero the scale and add in 5g (1 tsp) of xanthum gum. The xanthum gum helps make it creamy and voluminous.
Add 1/2 can of the zero sugar gingerale. You can also use sprite, almond milk, soy milk, etc. Add slowly, you can always add more but you can't take any liquid away!
Blend, watch for the color change. It will get a little bit lighter in color and volumize.
Move to a bowl and sprinkle with your favorite granola
